General Information

Autodesk Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use: Departments, students, faculty and staff are able to purchase AutoCAD software. Customers will be limited to one copy of an individual product per calendar year.
Autodesk Software-Departmental Use: Departments are able to purchase Autodesk software products through an annual site license from the MSU Computer Store. These licenses are for use on departmental machines only and are not returnable. Licenses are valid from January 12, 2012 to January 11, 2013 and must be renewed at this time.

The 2010, 2011 and 2012 Autodesk Education Master Suites can continue to be used if you do not wish to upgrade at this time.

Installation Information

Purchase a license for Autodesk. Your receipt is your proof of license.
Activation Code - The serial number that you need to activate your software will be provided with the media set.
Media can be checked out from the Computer Store - Insert your CD and follow the instructions on the screen. Or you can download media directly from the MSU Autodesk portal. Note, 3ds Max is not normally included in the media set and must be requested due to its limited number of licenses.

Home Use Provision

A home use provision is not available with Autodesk licenses.

Media

Media may be checked out from the MSU Computer Store for a 48 hour period. If you would like a copy of the media set, please contact the Site License Coordinator for details and pricing. There will be a $25 per day late fee for media that is not returned within the 48 hour period. There will also be a $50 charge for checked out media that has been damaged.

Media may also be downloaded from the MSU Autodesk portal. To obtain access, please contact the Site License Coordinator.
