General Information

TechSmith Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
TechSmith software is available to departments, students, faculty, and staff at an educational discount. If you do not see a product that you would like to purchase on our price list, please contact the MSU Computer Store for more information.
TechSmith Software-Departmental Use
TechSmith licenses and media are available at the MSU Computer Store at a substantial discount. These licenses are for departments only and are not returnable. All licenses are perpetual and will not expire.

Installation Information

TechSmith Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
The software comes in a box with everything you need to install and activate the software. Insert the CD and follow the on screen instructions.
TechSmith Software-Departmental Use
  1. Purchase a license for TechSmith. Your receipt is your proof of license.
  2. Activation Code-The serial number will be supplied to you via email after your purchase.
  3. Purchase Media if Needed-You can choose to receive your media as a download file or you can choose physical media. If you have chosen a physical copy, insert your CD and follow the instructions on the screen.

Maintenance

TechSmith Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
Maintenance is available for separate purchase along with your licenses. It will provide free software upgrades of both major and minor releases for 1 year, priority technical support, usually the same day, and increased discounts as you purchase licenses under a single maintenance agreement.

Home Use Provision

TechSmith Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
Users are allowed to install TechSmith box products on a secondary machine (laptop or home computer) as long as it is not being used at the same time as the primary license.
TechSmith Software-Departmental Use
A home use provision is available. Both installations must be for the same user and cannot be used at the same time.

Media

TechSmith Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
Media is provided with the license.
TechSmith Software-Departmental Use
Media is either purchased separately or downloaded.
