Licenses:

Students - For the Microsoft Office license with media pack ($65) please choose Microsoft Personal and Student Office Packs.

Departments - For most Microsoft software products, please choose Departmental Licensing-Applications, Servers, or Systems. The MSU Microsoft Select Agreement offers perpetual (non-expiring) licenses at significant discounts.

Software Assurance:
Software Assurance provides you with automatic upgrades to new versions of the license you purchased for a set amount of time. Software Assurance may only be purchased with a new license and needs to be renewed on September 1, 2008. Prices listed for software assurance cover a term that expires August 31, 2008. Prices will be pro-rated as time progresses. Media must be purchased separately.
 
CAL:
CALs (Client Access Licenses) are not software products,they are a license that gives the user the right to access a server. CALs can be purchased as either per USER or per DEVICE licenses. For more information on CALs, click the following link to Microsoft's webpage: Microsoft CAL Guide.
