Who can buy your products?

How can I find my order status?

For Dell and Lenovo orders go to the order status page and follow the instructions.  For Apple and software vendors call 432-0700.

Can I get copies of receipts from your website?

No, please call (517) 432-0700 to request a copy of your receipt, or email

Can I find out what I purchased over the past year from your website?

Yes, go to Order Status and search on your NetID or customer number.

Can I get more items than your website shows?

Yes, the Dell and Apple links contain thousands of items from numerous major manufacturers.

Can I buy from the computer store after I graduate?

No, most graduating seniors should be sure to make purchases before you graduate.

What types of payment do you accept?

Individuals can purchase with cash, check, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).  Departments must use a university account number.

How many copies of the software can I buy?

Personal purchases are normally limited to one copy per version, with a few exceptions.  Please call 432-0700 for details.

Can I have someone else pick up my order?

Normally the answer is no, however we can make an exception if prior arrangements are made.

What’s the difference between the Microsoft and Adobe personal licenses and full versions?

None, these licenses contain full versions of the software.  They are substantially discounted because we are an educational institution.

Can you make deliveries to a dorm?


What are the advantages of ordering from the Computer Store?

You can save up to 50% on software and as much as 5% on computers, laptops and printers.
